Tableau → Power BI migration assistant
A converter that reads Tableau workbooks and produces Power BI projects, translating calculated fields into DAX along the way.

Problem
Migrations are mostly repetition: the same worksheet shapes, the same calculated-field idioms, the same filters, re-typed by hand into Power BI at consultancy day rates.
Approach
Parse the .twb/.twbx XML, map worksheets to report pages and visuals, translate Tableau calculations to DAX with a rule table plus a review queue for what the rules cannot prove, and emit a Power BI project the desktop app opens.
The craft
The review queue is the honest part: the converter labels every translation it is not sure about instead of guessing silently.
Result
Used on 40+ dashboards. The public web front-end lives on this site; the conversion engine runs as a separate service.
